TEC_1_17_13 is an audiovisual remix of scientific data in which the recordings of electron content in the upper atmosphere taken by satellite over a twenty-four hour period are used to generate both two and three-dimensional animations as well the sonification that serves as the durational framing device for the work. It is an exploration of the possibilities for visually haptic and sonically visceral expression of data captured from phenomena that can only be experienced indirectly through instrumentation.
